Über mich

Die künstlerische Arbeit von Lizzy Herzer hat Strahlkraft und erzählt Geschichten von der Beziehung von Menschen zueinander und der Natur. Sie ist fröhlich, bunt und auch märchenhaft. “Zu allen Menschen, die ich male, fühle ich Verbundenheit”, sagt die Malerin, die am Ammersee lebt. “Mit meinen Bildern möchte ich ihre Schönheit, ihren Mut, ihre Stärken und ihren Charakter betonen”. Jeder Mensch hat  seine Krafttiere und Pflanzen. Die Motive zeigen großflächig Blumen und Tiere, die bewusst naive Züge tragen.
“Ich bin der Überzeugung, dass wir uns unbedingt mit Schönheit umgeben sollten. Bei mir hat sie eine  eigene Tiefe und ist alles andere als oberflächlich. Zu Hause oder an einem Ort, an dem ich ausruhen will, möchte ich lebensbejahende Bilder um mich haben. Zeitgenössisches Design ist oft beige-grau. Ein bisschen deprimierend, wenn die Farbe verschwindet. Ich male Kunst, die glücklich macht, denn wir brauchen inneren Frieden und Mut, um den kleinen und großen Problemen der Welt furchtlos entgegen treten zu können.”

The artwork of Lizzy Herzer has radiance and tells stories of the relationship of people to each other and to nature. It is cheerful, colorful and also fairytale-like. "I feel a connection to all the people I paint," says the painter, who lives closed to Munich. "With my paintings I want to emphasize their beauty, their courage, their strengths and their character." Each person has his power animals and plants. The motifs show large-scale flowers and animals, which deliberately bear naive features. 
"I am convinced that we should definitely surround ourselves with beauty. For me, it has its own depth and is anything but superficial. At home or in a place where I want to rest, I want to have life-affirming pictures around me. Contemporary design is often beige-gray. A bit depressing when the color disappears.... I paint art that makes you happy, because we need inner peace and courage to face the small and big problems of the world fearlessly."
